2016-17 District Assessment Plan
The Farmingdale School District uses a variety of assessment measures to evaluate to analyze the progress of individual students as well as the effectiveness of instruction. Some of the assessments we administer are mandated by state or federal law, while others are programs that have been instituted by the District to maximize the effectiveness of our overall academic programs.
There are several changes for the 2016-17 school year:
We will no longer administer the NWEA - Measure of Academic Progress
Grades 6-12 Quarterly assessments will be administered in the CORE academic subjects only - English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.
K-5 AIMSweb assessments will be used solely as a screening tool for Response to Intervention.
